Bollards in Viking Road
As per Councillor Brian Watkyns, the promised 92 bendable bollards for the Viking Way /Jan Smuts Drive intersection will be installed during the week of 11 November 2019.
When the bollards were not installed as promised we followed up via email.
13 Nov – We requested an update from Council – got no response
15 Nov – Brian Watkyns requested an update from the relevant department – got no response
20 Nov – We requested an update again
21 Nov – Brian Watkyns responded that he met with the area manager who confirmed that the installation team are finishing their current job today and will start in our Ward either tomorrow or Monday
22 Nov – bollards were installed
